A Corona update from 22nd St. Clay

May 1st 2020

Wow, all I can say is CRAZY.  I sincerely hope all of you and your families are well. I’m so ready for have all of you to be back at 22nd Street Clay with your hands in mud. Progress on the second building is coming along nicely and will be where we start back up.  It’s a nice space and I’m sure you will all enjoy it! And yes, there will be two sinks!!!!

As far as when we are expecting to re-open, I am going to aim for the week of May 31st, providing that the Stay at Home order is not put back in place. Once we re-open, we will be taking precautions to keep our instructors and students safe. Stay tuned for more details on the procedures we will be taking.

In the meantime, for those of you enrolled in a class, I would like to offer you the opportunity to pick up your class clay so you can work on hand building projects at home. No experience is necessary to participate, including those new to 22nd Street Clay! There are a multitude of videos online that can help guide you to create and give you the opportunity for a little at home therapy.

For those enrolled in our current session, I’ll leave clay inside the fence during the day from 3-6pm from May 4th-9th for you to pick up at your convenience.  I’ll have a notebook also for you to leave a note (bring your own pen). I miss you all and I’d love to hear from you.

Can’t wait to be back in clay with all of you soon,
Denise
